Why has responsive web design become so important? RWD has become important throughout the 2000's because of the invention of the handheld phone. With this device, without RWD it would be very difficult to see/read the actual site and how it was originally made. The media queries change depending on what device that you switch to. break points are when someone discovers a new way to display their responsive website.
